CBIOS leads FCT Project on the development of Smart Ionic Liquids
This project aims the development of a new extraction process based on Ionic Liquids, for the selective extraction of valuable bioactive compounds. This process may lead to new natural additives, nutraceuticals, and functional ingredients for pharmaceutical applications.
This exploratory project was approved by FCT in the aim of IC&DT projects, and can count with a multidisciplinary team from CBIOS and FFUL.
