CBIOS equipment upgrade - new fluorescent microscope and FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared)

A Zeiss Axio Observer inverted fluorescence microscope equipped with all the tools for the imaging of live cells was recently acquired by ULHT/CBIOS. This microscope is a key instrument for many researchers at CBIOS and will largely expand the cell and molecular biology technical approaches currently available at the centre. The PerkinElmer Spectrum Two FTIR spectrometer equipped with an ATR accessory obtains the infrared spectrum of samples in all the physical stated. This is an important upgrade to CBIOS, since helps to implement the expertise in the structural characterization of therapeutic proteins.
