ACTIVE – PsychoACTIVE Research Cluster

ACTIVE – PsychoACTIVE Research Cluster is a specialized research and innovation platform dedicated to the scientific development, characterization, and evaluation of psychoactive substances for pharmaceutical and research applications.

Mission

To advance the research, development, and evaluation of psychoactive substances, transforming scientific knowledge into innovative solutions through scientific excellence, translational research, and strategic collaboration.

ACTIVE is embedded in a high-level scientific environment linked to the research unit CBIOS at Universidade Lusófona (Lisbon), fully authorized since 2022 by INFARMED (the Portuguese Medicines Agency) to conduct research and development involving narcotic and psychotropic substances and preparations included.
