The project will be an added value in numerous aspects of the educational dynamics of our School as it will promote unique experiences for everyone who is part of it, for everyone around it (local community/families) and will enhance:

  • promotion of scientific and technological literacy, aiming to create knowledge spaces aimed at the entire community that stimulate enthusiasm for science and lifelong learning;
  • articulation between formal and non-formal education, through the promotion of experimental science teaching inside and outside the classroom;
  • modernization of teaching models and strategies, promoting coordination between formal and non-formal education (between subjects, between cycles and between schools);
  • opening the School to the local community, by encouraging the establishment of partnerships with scientific and Higher Education institutions, Local Authorities, Ciência Viva Centers, companies with R&D, museums and other cultural institutions;
  • sharing good practices, resources and scientific knowledge, through: online platforms; coordination between Schools from different Groups; of carrying out regional/national meetings with the presence of all partners; the dissemination of good practices and educational resources relevant to teaching practice.
