This extensive analysis showcases the potential of African flora, fungi, and marine life in cancer therapy, emphasizing promising drug leads from the continent. The review is dedicated to the memory of Professor Benjamin Rodriguez, a former mentor of Gabrielle’s supervisor, Patricia Rijo.
